Coming Close to the Beginning

Or perhaps it is the end. Thirteen more working days before I end my 20 some years of experience with corporate jobs (for at least a year) and head off for volunteer work in Colorado. I will be posting here over the next year and will try to document my experiences. Within the next few weeks I will start to document what I am hoping to learn. Over the course of the year I will hopefully give you a pictorial and verbal description of my experiences. I hope my friends will enjoy this, and respond back to my postings if so inspired.

So please join me in my endeavor. There will be much more to come.

Life without Wayne is going to be weird. But thanks to your blog, we can live vicariously through your events and watch your growth.

Oops, ELMS just crashed, gotta go. You might want to turn off your cellphone once you hit the Rockies.

Some people see things that are and ask, Why? Some people dream of things that never were and ask, Why not? Some people have to go to work and don't have time for all that. - George Carlin

Your only work now is to ask why and why not and to get other people to ask as well. Best of luck!

It's the begining of a grand adventure. Your soul will find new souls, new challenges, and learn new things about yourself. Enjoy the ride!

You did not talk much about what type of volunteer work there is. It is so exciting reading your blog and seems, at a moment, we too can experience the world of the endless possiblities.

Good luck, my friend. God bless you.
